Administrative Assistant                                                                        Effective  7/9/16

Brummet & Olsen, LLP is seeking an individual to join its growing professional staff. This position is for 30 – 40 hours per week, with compensation based on education and experience.

Ideal candidate will be an organized, personable and detail-oriented self-starter that has excellent communication and follow-up skills. Successful candidate will be motivated and able to work well with both clients and staff.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Answering phone, scheduling appointments and greeting of clients as they arrive
• Copying and assembly of tax returns prepared by Partners
• Assisting Partners with filing and maintaining of records system
• Various office administrative tasks such as supplies tracking, tax mailings, etc.
• Maintaining a professional image in our workplace through efficient office management
• Demonstration of commitment to firm values of integrity, accuracy and client satisfaction

Qualifications: 

• Prior administrative experience a plus
• Organized, with outstanding attention to detail
• Prompt and dependable attendance
• Excellent work ethic
• Personable and positive attitude
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (aptitude test will be given at interview)
• Quickbooks Pro experience a real plus
• Prior corporate or public accounting experience a plus

Bookkeeper                                                                         Effecitve 7/9/16

Hinsdale CPA firm is seeking qualified individual to join its dynamic, growing professional staff. This position is part-time for 20-35 hours per week, with full-time possible for right individual.

Ideal candidate will be an organized, detail-oriented self-starter that has excellent communication and follow-up skills. We are looking for an experienced professional to hit the ground running with QuickBooks clients. Successful candidate will be personable and able to work well with both clients and staff.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Production of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and accompanying schedules, including necessary journal entries and analysis for completeness and accuracy

• Analysis of general ledger accounts and reconciliation of bank accounts, with appropriate client communication and action to resolve outstanding issues and items
• Demonstration of commitment to firm values of integrity, accuracy and client satisfaction

Qualifications: 

• Extensive QuickBooks experience required
• Accounting or Finance Degree preferred
• Three or more years prior corporate or public accounting experience, with emphasis on QuickBooks write up and financial statement presentation
• Strong computer skills, with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Outstanding attention to detail
